5 Reasons to Download (and Use!) the New Vinyl Industry App

With that in mind, we developed the new Vinyl Industry Resources mobile app for busy vinyl industry members. This free app is designed to provide the latest information about the industry, legislative efforts, events, tools and resources available. It also allows users to share this information with customers and others who have questions or want information about the industry and the material.

Five reasons you should download this free mobile app:

1. Access to useful tools and information. We’ve loaded this app with industry information and tools you can use and share. A sample of some of the information available includes: technical papers about vinyl recycling and sustainability; a list of vinyl recyclers by state and province; a listing of all the vinyl industry events and registration information for each; and fact sheets about topics most frequently asked about.

2. Share information quickly and easily. Information in the Vinyl Facts, Issue Briefs, Vinyl Building Council and Education Programs sections are shared easily by selecting a topic and clicking on the share icon in the upper right corner of the app, which allows you to send the information via email.

3. Inform federal legislators about important industry issues. The “Take Action” section allows you to send emails about important issues directly to specific federal legislators to let them know how proposed legislation impacts your company.

4. Access industry and legislative contacts. The directory section includes both a state and federal legislative directory. Vinyl industry information such as number of facilities, number of employees and economic impacts per legislative district is added to the profiles of congressional members who have facilities in their districts. This section also has contact formation for all the vinyl industry associations, and allows you to call and or email those contacts directly from the app.

5. Add industry events to your calendar. We’ve added event information from more than eight vinyl industry trade associations to the event section of the app, which allows you to add one or more events to your calendar. Each event listed includes a link to the event registration and information web pages where available.
