Career and Technical Education Receives More Funding for 2019
This week, Congress approved a final Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations bill that will increase funding for the Perkins Basic State Grant by $70 million. Both Chambers of Congress approved the measure with overwhelming bipartisan support. Workforce development remains a key issue for the vinyl industry as well as other domestic manufacturers. We are pleased to see Congress reinvest in our nation’s workforce and look forward to working with them on this issue going forward. Check out more highlights from the legislation below.
