U.S. vinyl resin producers manufacture approximately 15 billion pounds of vinyl resin annually. 10.4 billion pounds are consumed domestically, and nearly 5 billion pounds are exported.

70% of the domestically consumed resin goes into the building and construction market. producing safe, strong, durable pipe, flooring, wallcovering, windows, fences and decks, siding, roofing, wiring, and more. These products are known to last from 10 to 100+ years.

Post-consumer recycled vinyl is up 40% since 2014.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Municipal Solid Waste Report, vinyl is only 0.8% of all materials found in landfills, while the entirety of plastic waste in landfills is 27% of all materials.
