USMCA is a Win for US Businesses and American Workers
The Vinyl Institute praises the signing of the USMCA and urges Congress to expeditiously review the pact and move towards full implementation.
Richard Doyle, President & CEO of the Vinyl Institute called the deal “a vitally important trade pact that will bolster the American economy and grow jobs here in the United States.”
He added, “Furthermore, it positions us with our largest export markets – Mexico and Canada – in order to show a united economic front in negotiations with unfair competitors like China. This deal also helps provide certainty to the 2 million US jobs that rely on exports to Mexico and Canada. But the deal isn’t done. We need Congress to move quickly to review the USMCA before the end of the year. This trilateral agreement is a big win for the United States and our North American allies, and we look forward to working with the Congress and the Administration to ensure this deal is implemented in a way that strengthens American companies and American workers.”
