VI, AAI Letter Outlines Key Priorities for LCSA Implementation
VI has joined the American Alliance for Innovation (AAI) and 58 other associations in sending a letter to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy outlining the group’s key priorities for implementation of TSCA reform. The letter addressed EPA’s implementation of the new Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (LCSA) including the selection of the first 10 chemicals to undergo risk evaluations, the process for prioritizing chemicals for risk evaluation, changes for section 5 of TSCA, and the protection of confidential business information (CBI).
