VI Looks to Introduce 3 Students to the Vinyl Industry

The Vinyl Institute is looking to select up to 3 students to receive travel grants to the Society of Plastics Engineers’ Vinyltec 2017. The goal is to introduce them to vinyl, the material, and the industry.

Vinyltec is the largest vinyl-focused conference in the United States. At Vinyltec, attendees learn about new developments in the vinyl industry and receive training in niche areas of the industry. This year, the Vinyl Institute’s Rich Krock and Cristian Barcan are among those presenting.

Who qualifies to apply.

To apply for the Vinyl Institute Travel Grant for Vinyltec, a prospective grantee must:

  • Be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university
  • Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in polymer science, material science, chemistry, or chemical engineering
  • Be able to travel to San Antonio, Texas, and attend Vinyltec on October 11-12, 2017

All applications must be complete in full and sent in on or before September 08, 2017.
