VI Looks to Introduce Three Students to the Vinyl Industry
The Vinyl Institute is looking to select up to three students to award travel grants to attend the Society of Plastics Engineers’ 2018 Vinyltec. The goal is to introduce them to vinyl, the material, and the industry.
Vinyltec is the largest vinyl-focused conference in the United States. At Vinyltec, attendees learn about new developments in the vinyl industry and receive training in niche areas of the industry.
Who qualifies to apply.
To apply for the Vinyl Institute Travel Grant for Vinyltec, a prospective grantee must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university
- Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in polymer science, material science, chemistry, or chemical engineering
- Be able to travel to Chicago and attend Vinyltec on October 23-25, 2018
All applications must be signed, complete and sent to David Dunston by Friday, August 24, 2018.
