The Vinyl Institute Presents Senator Mullin and Representative Gonzalez with 2025 Congressional Champions Awards
WASHINGTON, DC, April 10, 2025 – The Vinyl Institute (VI), a U.S. trade association representing the leading manufacturers of vinyl, presented Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and Representative Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX-34) with the Vinyl Institute’s Congressional Champion Awards.
The Vinyl Institute’s Congressional Champion Award was established by the VI in 2019 to honor Members of Congress who have advanced the vinyl industry’s legislative priorities in their states and districts; respond effectively to constituents’ needs and concerns; and support commonsense legislation that uses taxpayer dollars responsibly in addressing the critical needs of the nation and keeps our economy strong and thriving. It is presented annually.
“The members of the Vinyl Institute are honored to recognize Senator Mullin and Representative Gonzalez for their efforts on Capitol Hill,” said Ned Monroe, president and CEO of the Vinyl Institute. “Senator Mullin has been a stalwart advocate for our industry. Representative Gonzalez is a key member of the Congressional Oil & Gas Caucus, and has fought for recycling and common sense on the Hill. We thank this bipartisan duo for their continued advocacy on behalf of American workers.”
