Vinyl Institute Congratulates Lee Zeldin on Confirmation as EPA Administrator
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 29, 2025 – The Vinyl Institute (VI), a U.S. trade association representing the leading manufacturers of vinyl, today congratulated Lee Zeldin on his confirmation as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“We extend our congratulations to Administrator Zeldin as he takes on this important role,” said Ned Monroe, president and CEO of the VI. “The VI and our members will continue collaborating with EPA under Administrator Zeldin’s leadership to support science-based solutions that protect both our environment and American workers.”
Zeldin represented New York’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023. In a bipartisan vote, the U.S. Senate confirmed Zeldin by a vote of 56-42.
