Vinyl Institute Elects Dick Heinle as Chairman
WASHINGTON, DC – Nov. 17, 2022 – The Vinyl Institute (VI), is pleased to announce that Dick Heinle, Vice President and General Manager Vinyl Division at Formosa Plastics USA, today was elected as 2023 VI Chairman at the association’s annual meeting and 40th-year anniversary celebration.
“We are pleased to welcome Dick as our incoming chairman,” said Ned Monroe, VI President and CEO. “Our membership recognizes the key role that Mr. Heinle will have in leading and advancing the vinyl industry. He will assist in legislative and regulatory policy positions that will grow the U.S. PVC industry, continue our sustainability efforts, and ensure the continued implementation of our strategic priorities.”
In this role, Mr. Heinle will lead the VI’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors which is comprised of its company members with the capacity in the United States to manufacture 12+ billion pounds or more of vinyl chloride suspension polymers or copolymers. Dick Heinle previously served as Vice Chair in 2022.
