Vinyl Institute Welcomes Dow Chemical Company as New Member

WASHINGTON — The Vinyl Institute (VI), the U.S. trade association representing manufacturers of vinyl, vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), additives, and modifiers, is pleased to announce that Dow Chemical Company has been inducted as the newest supporting member of the trade association.

“We welcome Dow to the Vinyl Institute’s Board of Directors and look forward to their active participation in our collaborative and strategic efforts in shaping the future of the vinyl industry,” said Ned Monroe, VI President and CEO. “Their leadership adds valuable perspective and insight to our Board.”

Dow is a U.S.-based chemical corporation headquartered in Midland, Mich., and one of the three largest chemical producers worldwide.

The company joins the VI’s Board of Directors which includes Formosa Plastics Corporation, Westlake Chemical Company, Shintech, Occidental Chemical Corporation, Eastman Chemical Company, ExxonMobil Chemical, Kaneka Corporation, Geon Performance Solutions, Vestolit, Teknor Apex Company, Lubrizol Corporation, and OMNOVA Solutions.
